The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy, coordination, management, implementation and oversight of all marketing programs, efforts, and budgets.

The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for ensuring all customer-oriented marketing and advertising materials created are made with the utmost quality and brand consistency. This position requires a full understanding and proven success. Experience needs to include clear understanding of the marketing thought processes, developing marketing plans and integrating creative strategies. A good understanding and background of public relations and media planning/buying process is necessary. Strong presentation skills; excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong organizational skills; and leadership abilities are also required.

The Marketing Manager’s position will be evaluated, and bonuses will be earned via proven increased in-coming call volume, increased website visits and product purchases, and number of new residential and corporate accounts, as well as DIY systems sold.

Primary duties will include but may not be limited to:

  • Continuous management/review and maintenance of website
  • Constant measurement of website and conversion analytics
  • Write, schedule and manage social media content
  • Oversee marketing plan and traditional/digital marketing
  • Coordinate departmental marketing efforts and communicate current offerings to all employees
  • Grow positive online reviews on Google, Angie’s List, Facebook, and any other prominent sites
  • Monitor and respond promptly to online reviews and social media posts
  • Work within the company’s marketing budget
  • Assist sales staff with direct marketing to their customer contacts
  • Continuous evaluation of printed forms for proper, consistent layout and written format
  • Lead and managing the online store including promoting, selling and fulfilling sales orders
  • Manage outside vendor relationships, budgets and services

Ideal Candidate will possess:

Organizational skills, excellent grammar, a solid understanding of SEO, websites, social media, and digital and print marketing.

In addition, the Marketing Manager must:

  • Be a self-starter
  • Have exceptional spelling, proofreading and grammar skills
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Have a good understanding of content writing creation and editing
  • Have strong knowledge of website functionality, metrics evaluation, and management
  • Have social media marketing experience
  • Have a solid understanding of the inner workings of SEO methodology
  • Have an understanding on how to create website conversions
  • Know how to execute digital marketing strategies
  • Be proficient in using Constant Contact or similar email campaign software platforms
  • Understand the e-commerce experience – promoting, selling and fulfilling sales

A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields is required: Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations or Business Administration. At least two to five years of professional experience with an interactive agency, advertising agency, PR firm or a medium/large business focusing on marketing communications, brand management and/or the positioning and promotion of strategic business initiatives is required.
