Position Details

Marketing Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Eden Prairie, MN

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic restaurant marketing programs, building community relationships and oversight of the Marketing Department.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and assist Operations Supervisors, General Managers, and the entire Marketing team on how to best complete marketing plans, partnerships, programs and promotions. 
  • Create strategic store marketing plans and programs with the assistance of the Marketing team 
  • Manage beginning to end execution of store promotions by; establishing objectives, implementing strategies, communicating with cross-functional team members, and providing post-promotion summaries. 
  • Manage timelines and distribution of marketing materials. 
  • Organize media reps., third party vendors, and contract agreements. 
  • Assist in development and distribution of monthly store merchandising plans. 
  • Track and analyze sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually). 
  • Achieve effective relationships within the community and with General Managers. 
  • Oversee the graphic design department and their involvement in social media. 
  • Oversee annual Folds of Honor campaign 
  • Maintain a relationship with International Dairy Queen’s Marketing Team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication and/or Public Relations. 
  • Previous experience managing multi-units across diverse geography. 
  • Strong leadership experience. 
  • Ability to meet and exceed expectations within a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Extensive computer experience with both Microsoft and Apple products. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Willing to travel up to 25-50% of work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Print and outdoor media experience. 
  • Restaurant or retail marketing experience. 
  • Franchise business experience. 
  • Graphic design software knowledge/experience.
