Essential Functions:

  • Develop creative marketing campaigns concepts to generate leads and brand awareness using both traditional and online marketing. 
  • Manage digital marketing agency (that assists with PPC, SEO, and SEM initiatives). 
  • Be the conduit between sales and marketing when planning lead-generation campaigns. 
  • Work with resellers to brand MDI materials for their local markets. 
  • Work with graphic design to direct creative and write creative messaging for sell sheets, brochures, etc. 
  • Plan and coordinate tradeshows & marketing events. (only 2-3 per year) 
  • Update the website content, clone/create landing pages, and update the blog using WordPress. (no coding experience required). 
  • Ability to lead photo and video shoots, as needed. 
  • Can write catchy headlines, mailers, and basic marketing materials that break through the clutter. 
  • Own and communicate marketing KPIs measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and taking corrective actions to achieve objectives. 
  • Collaborate and develop trackable measurement plans, tied to business objectives, for all marketing activity 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications. 
  • 3-5 years: B2B marketing experience. 
  • Experience working with a reseller or distributor network preferred 
  • Ability to show past creative work/portfolio or examples of past projects and campaigns. 
  • Solid background in using a variety of marketing channels to promote products. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication, copywriting and proofreading skills. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently move multiple projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Continuous learner 
  • Ability to interact and operate successfully with all levels of management, a diverse work force, and a wide range of capabilities and personalities. 
  • Strong team player

  • Preferred - working knowledge of website CMS; WordPress, Salesforce, Mail Chimp 
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and a drug screening test. 
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.

Environment and Physical Demands:

  • A traditional work week (M-F) with MDI core hours. Work during non-traditional hours periodically required. 
  • Basic vision required. 
  • Works in a typical office setting which includes; 
  • Continuously sit, use of computer monitor, mouse, and keyboard, standard telephone, hearing and talking. 
  • Occasionally lift, reach, rotate hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. 
  • Occasionally works in a typical factory environment-including high noise levels, moving machinery, conveyors, dust, and chemicals.

Other:

  • Periodic travel between MDI facilities and event locations off-site. 
  • Ability to independently travel by car and airplane for occasional customer meetings and events.
