The Marketing Manager will create and carryout Northern’s multifaceted B2B marketing plan to increase brand/product awareness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, schedule, implement and evaluate marketing plans and projects for new and existing products. 
  • Create and carry out marketing strategy to promote products, working with management, sales, purchasing and other internal departments. Marketing strategy includes advertising, flyers, statement stuffers, catalogs, trade show materials. 
  • Create and administer product advertising details for graphic department to create marketing product. 
  • Stay up to date on all new products and industry trends & forecasts, create marketing plan for new products, and explain new materials to sales team. 
  • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results (ROI & key performance metrics). 
  • Build out and execute on comprehensive E-Commerce go-to-market strategies to drive traffic, engagement and orders. Ensure optimization of company website content to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience. 
  • Review annual marketing plan, by studying, evaluating, and re-designing marketing product and processes. Establish and communicate best practices, monitor and analyze results and implement changes, as needed. Continually evaluate, expand and develop marketing platforms. 
  • Create and manage trade show program from trade show selection, booth design, staffing, advance ordering, travel arrangements, setup and tear down. Create marketing presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a business to business marketing corporate environment with experience in strategic marketing. 
  • Must have management experience with the ability to lead people and get results through others, develop and build teams, coordinate the work and activities of others. 
  • Must be able to develop goals and lead projects to completion. 
  • Must be able to make strategic decisions, have strong interpersonal skills, facilitation capabilities. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. In written communication, must be able to create a concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy. 
  • Proven experience in generating various forms of marketing communications including web sites, emails, presentations, white papers, flyers, brochures and/or webinars. 
  • Experience with relevant software applications, website maintenance and CRM applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovative solutions to marketing challenges. 
  • Planning ability to think ahead and plan over a 6-12 month time span. Organize, plan, and prioritize work. 
  • Direct experience with managing an active e-commerce site in terms of marketing, product merchandising, optimizing traffic andconversion rates. 
  • Expertise in Email Marketing best practices and execution. 
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. 
  • Experience in publicizing products and services. Using different factors to attract customers.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
