In close collaboration with the Marketing Team and Business Leaders, the Marketing Manager will support the growth of the Novus Home Mortgage brand in the market by driving an optimal marketing mix (PR, social, content, etc.) and adapting corporate marketing programs to the needs of consumers. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about all things marketing and who has the demonstrated ability to generate awareness and business opportunities in a fast-paced, growth environment.

Your day will look like this: 

Act as a liaison for the Marketing team to support the growth of Novus Home Mortgage

  • Develop strategies to grow Novus Home Mortgage by adapting strategies to the needs of the marketplace 
  • Maintain brand standards and tone across all communication channels and tools 
  • Support the Marketing & Communications team for company-wide internal communications
  • Maintain and update website 
  • Support media relations and assigned PR opportunities 
Provide support to Business Leaders to support sales development
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analyses, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies 
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on KPIs and customer and industry feedback 
  • Support events and tradeshows 
  • Support merchandise requests 
  • Develop strategies to grow our prospect list 
Management
  • Prepare and maintain the marketing plan and calendar of activities 
  • Collaborate with marketing team members on content plans to ensure alignment 
  • Meet regularly with business leaders to align sales and marketing initiatives 
  • Manage external resources and in-house resources (agencies, freelancers) 
  • Analyze KPIs and provide recommendations and strategies to improve performance 
  • Ability to delegate and manage performance 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an equivalent 
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a marketing manager 
  • Proven ability to manage a Marketing team- required
  • Experience in mortgage/banking - strongly preferred
  • Marketing strategy and planning 
  • Digital/Growth Marketing skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal/external stakeholders 
  • Experience preparing sales materials, including presentations, sales support materials, etc, 
  • Experience with social media best practices 
  • Excellent Written English / Copywriting skills 
  • Basic working knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Suite, etc) 
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Surefire CRM 
  • Experience in creating and producing marketing content (presentations, documents, ads, campaigns, etc.) 
  • Strong content writing skills for digital (SEO, SEM) marketing 
  • Website management skills 
  • Strong capacity to work with multiple schedules at once and under pressure 
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail 
  • Well-developed organizational skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external) 
  • Adapt to change easily 
  • Strong team player and highly collaborative
