Our building houses our well-stocked warehouse, our production equipment and provides a home base for our numerous full-time construction crews. It also houses our extensive service department, a unique feature that separates Sure-Dry from most of our competition.

Sure-Dry Basements, a leader in the foundation repair industry, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have stable and verifiable marketing experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to understand the technicality of foundation systems, and proficient computer skills. This candidate will also have a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration or a related field and at least two years of experience in marketing design, communication or public relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in marketing.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager has a primary duty of managing the company’s marketing department and exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance related to the marketing department. Supports the company’s management, purpose, vision, mission, and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees marketing personnel and coordinating priorities for department. Has the authority and responsibility to hire, fire, allocate work, provide training, set and inspect performance expectations, evaluate performance, reward and recognize, discipline, and recommend wage changes, promotions, transfers, or any other change of employee status. His/her recommendations are given serious weight in each decision 
  • Setting & executing marketing strategies, goal setting, purchasing, evaluating marketing sources, terminating marketing vendor relationships, designing, recommending new employees for the department, and so on. 
  • Formulates and implements strategies with the goal of meeting or exceeding the annually budgeted number of sales leads within the budgeted cost for such leads. 
  • Represent Sure-Dry to clients, peer organizations, and business associates. 
  • Drive team accountability for work results and provide consistent feedback for improvement. 
  • Lead tracking, managing marketing assets, managing social media. 
  • Designing and writing marketing materials, developing marketing campaigns. 
  • Vetting sponsorship and advertising requests, then coordinating the execution. 
  • Maintaining relationships with local Chambers and other community organizations to promote the company. 
  • Applies for community awards. 
  • Planning, and representing Sure-Dry at events, home shows, conferences, and networking opportunities. 
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations. 
  • Coordinating marketing activities such as PR, photos and videos, project signage with project teams. 
  • Actively engages with other network dealers to share best practices. 
  • Drives for the company in a safe manner. 
  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance. 
  • Consistently work with other departments on how to increase lead generation within each department. Establish processes and constantly monitor and drive those processes across the departments by being in communication with those departments daily. 
  • Present at staff meetings and manager meetings on marketing progress.

Required education, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in the marketing field. 
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record. 
  • Prior exposure and knowledge of marketing principles and practices. 
  • Experience in planning and executing events. 
  • Comfortable with public speaking and networking. 
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. 
  • Skill in operating personal computer and programs. 
  • Skill in design software and all social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. 
  • Skill in verbal and written communication. Strong negotiation skills
