Seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, and energetic individual to join our team full-time as our new marketing manager. Experience in marketing in the A/E/C industry required, experience in landscape architecture and / or planning offices desired. Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

MARKETING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT -

  • Establish efficient marketing system, including updating and maintaining the marketing file system. 
  • Establish and manage schedules for routine marketing publications, outreach, and events. 
  • Establish, update, and maintain proposal tracking system. 
  • Update and maintain contact database. 
  • Establish and maintain marketing material inventory and ordering. 
  • Participate in marketing-related professional organizations (e.g. SMPS)

MARKETING COLLATERAL AND BRAND MANAGEMENT -

  • Strategically employ and maximize the effectiveness of The Lakota Group’s new brand.
  • Gather and maintain marketing information for the firm including bios, project descriptions and statistics, etc. 
  • Obtain and maintain finished project and employee photography. 
  • Coordinate professional photography of the firm’s projects as needed. 
  • Maintain master files of resumes, scopes, boilerplate company information, project descriptions, reference letters, etc. 
  • Coordinates collateral material process to ensure materials are updated and consistent.

PROPOSAL WRITING AND COORDINATION -

  • Serve as project manager for the coordination of project teams, coordinate sub-consultant information, and prepare standard forms and documents. 
  • Write, edit, and produce statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials. 
  • Provide graphics expertise to support the presentation of proposals. 
  • Maintain and use graphic templates to ensure consistency and best practice.

AWARDS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS -

  • Maintain calendar of industry events, speaking opportunities, publication opportunities, and award opportunities. 
  • Develop award submittals and coordinating public relations 
  • Assist in coordinating client and community outreach events including trade shows, community service programs, etc. 
  • Assist with event planning and support.

NEW MEDIA AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENT -

  • Establish social media channels and compose, coordinate and maintain up to date content. 
  • Create a master schedule for website and social media content updates. 
  • Participate in the ongoing design and development of The Lakota Group’s new website, assist in developing content for the website.

Ideally, the successful candidate will also have the aptitude and interest to participate in our planning and design project teams during off-peak periods of marketing workload. Depending on the skills of the successful candidate, activities may include graphic design, presentation preparation, documentation / report writing, and support for community outreach activities.
