We publish Bibles in English and Spanish along with a broad spectrum of books from trusted authors, also in English and Spanish, to equip and encourage readers in their Christian faith. Our nonfiction books provide insight to renew the spirit while tackling life at street level, and our fiction from new and celebrated authors alike captures the imaginations of millions of fans. We also engage and enrich the next generation through children’s books and Bibles.

Today we’re one of the largest independently owned Christian publishers in the world. Though our business has grown, our mission remains the same: to open God’s Word to as many as possible in language they can relate to and understand.

Yet our vision reaches beyond publishing and extends to transforming the hearts and minds of people across the globe. We pursue this vision by channeling the profits of Tyndale House Publishers directly to Tyndale House Foundation. The Foundation uses these funds to support ministries involved with Bible translation, literature distribution, leadership training, and humanitarian aid.

Tyndale House is seeking a marketing manager to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for product lines within one of Tyndale’s publishing groups. This position will work to effectively position Tyndale’s nonfiction and fiction books in the market and to stimulate demand on both the trade and consumer levels. Key to this position will be a candidate’s ability to effectively presentmarketing plans to authors and agents, manage expectations, and guide collaborative efforts. An excellent candidate will have experience working with internal departments and outside suppliers to execute plans in a timely manner and within allocated budgets. This position also will provide input on new products from concept through launch.

Ideal candidates will have experience in product development, trade promotion, consumer advertising, and public relations, as well as proven abilities in social media and online marketing. Experience developing creative direction and copy/content for marketing vehicles such as email/direct mail campaigns, social media campaigns, videos, websites, and press releases is desired.

Qualified candidates should have a BA degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and 3-5 years in a marketing-related position. Publishing industry experience a plus. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills with creative or persuasive writing skills desired. Highly collaborative team player with excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills. Budget management, project management, good organizational skills, negotiating skills, and creative problem-solving abilities are a must.
