As the Marketing Manager in the Business Education and Careers group focused on Economics, Finance, and Decision Science, you will establish and execute on customer-specific marketing plans and help people reach their potential, advance their careers, and sharpen their business skills with digital learning tools.


  • Make a difference in the lives of instructors and their students pursuing careers in the Business School 
  • Craft messaging and positioning for digital learning tools like Knewton Alta and WileyPLUS, and instructional content in key growth markets like Economics, Finance, and Decision Science 
  • Engage with customer communities and develop innovative marketing strategies to drive demand and nurture customers 
  • Lead the activation of marketing campaigns through content, webinars, conferences, events, and social by closely working with marketing colleagues, authors, editors, and subject matter experts 
  • Create sales enablement strategies, tools, and tactics that improve sales effectiveness 
  • Support sales with customer visits and presentations on college campuses 
  • Engage deeply with target customer segments and understand, follow, and investigate teaching and learning trends and customer needs and challenges 
  • Effectively present the benefits and capabilities of your assigned titles and WileyPLUS courses to customers, sales colleagues, and team members 
  • Report on the performance of marketing activities and improve campaigns year over year


  • Marketing go-getter with empathy for customers, a passion for digital learning, and great storytelling skills 
  • 3-5 year of marketing, market development, or sales experience (preferably in higher education) 
  • Understanding and experience in creating value propositions and product differentiation 
  • Understanding and experience in driving demand through innovative marketing programs 
  • Marketing campaign planning, goal setting, and collaboration 
  • Experience in working with sales teams and creating sales enablement tools and programs 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complicated subjects to non-technical audiences 
  • Analytical and prioritization skills 
  • Achievement oriented and self-starter 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
