Marketing Program Specialist – Digital Technologist

How will you make an impact?

As the Marketing Program Specialist – Digital Technologist, you’ll be responsible for the experience of the content management platform within our Sitecore platform. You will know the ins and outs of the Sitecore content editing experience and be the go-to person for Marketing resources. You will optimize the Sitecore experience but also enhance as you work with Marketing co-workers and technical partners to expand capabilities and enhance our content management functions and site capabilities. This will be accomplished by:

  • Managing the Sitecore content management platform and serve as the primary owner for the content management function
  • Reinforcing our brand by serving as our web publishing gatekeeper and enforcing best practices and protocols for all published web content and assets
  • Leading projects that will enhance our Sitecore instances, enhance or expand our design system, or improve quality of life for content editors
  • Training content editors on new and enhanced capabilities and document instructions and specifications that will be used by others in Marketing
  • Working with others in Marketing to define requirements to enhancements and prioritize enhancements that will deliver the most impact
  • Develop UAT plans and coordinate QA testing with other digital team members
  • Audit and maintain Marketing sites and assets to keep web activities efficient, ensure they follow accessibility practices, and optimize CMS performance
  • Keep our sites secure by addressing vulnerabilities and leading remediation efforts with our partners
  • Work alongside our development and hosting partners to create exciting change
  • Coordinate and serve as point person for Sitecore deployments

  • An understanding of Digital Marketing principles and practices
  • Exposure and experience to various Marketing technologies
  • Using and growing capabilities beyond content management in the Sitecore platform

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience working with a content management system
  • Sitecore preferred but other CMS experience is acceptable
  • Solid understanding of modular design and systems
  • Understanding of web design and development best practices
  • Experience working with design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Understanding of web accessibility principles and best practices
  • Experience with the Agile development process
  • Experience with maintaining a backlog and requirements gathering
  • Experience supporting and/or developing UAT plans ahead of web releases
  • Experience with vendor management
