Marketing Projects and Operations Associate

Artisan Partners Limited Partnership has an immediate opening for an experienced Marketing Projects and Operations Associate. The Marketing Projects and Operations team is part of Artisan Partners’ Marketing and Communications group. Members of the Marketing Projects and Operations team are responsible for partnering with the firm’s investment and distribution teams to develop and implement creative and innovative marketing strategies that reach our clients and prospects.

Primary responsibilities for the role include the project management of multiple, simultaneous marketing-related projects for our investment teams, including thought leadership papers, videos, podcasts, webinars, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, public relations inquiries and ad hoc requests. This position works closely with our Digital and Creative, Compliance and Distribution teams to develop and create marketing collateral, ensuring consistency in messaging, accuracy of information and legal and regulatory compliance.


The candidate can expect to:

  • Collaborate with various distribution teams and marketing leadership to assist in developing marketing campaigns, including multi-channel and multi-touch journeys 
  • Manage marketing campaigns through the lifecycle of concepting, content, editing, compliance approval, design, distribution, promotion and maintenance 
  • Project types include thought leadership papers, topical videos, virtual events, third-party articles, blog posts, event collateral, social media posts, media inquiries and any other ad hoc projects that arise 
  • Create and manage project timelines and communicate status updates regularly to stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with the Digital and Creative team to ensure consistency of brand standards and messaging across all mediums 
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all materials are compliant and filed per regulatory requirements 
  • Maintain valid and current workflows and checklists 
  • Continually seek out and implement enhancements and efficiencies to production processes

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, finance or investment management 
  • 3-5 years professional experience. Investment management industry experience is a plus 
  • Basic understanding of the investment management industry and a desire to learn more 
  • Passion for investments and financial markets 
  • Demonstrated success in project management 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, time management and organizational skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across multiple projects, under tight deadlines and perform well under pressure 
  • Attention to detail and quality is critical Self-motivated, high-energy, team-oriented problem solver 
  • Superb client service orientation, including a positive, collegial attitude with a high degree of professionalism 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint 
  • FactSet exposure is a plus
