Roles and Responsibilities

Our capabilities span more than 10,000 employees in over 200 locations around the world—and counting. The Twin Cities area is home to more than 200 of our professionals, and our local office is in the St. Louis Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. We are seeking a senior proposal coordinator for our marketing team to support the Minnesota/Wisconsin area in the North Central region power and energy market. This individual will work out of our local office.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage deadline-driven proposal development process from beginning to end—including setting and leading meetings—working with business development leads, project managers, and technical staff, under guidance from the area marketing lead 
  • Provide message development for proposals—conceptualizing, researching, and producing content, including graphic development 
  • Create layout and ultimate document design of proposals and other marketing collateral, utilizing existing templates and brand standards 
  • Write non-technical copy, and edit, proofread, and shape copy provided by technical staff 
  • Support other marketing efforts by coordinating business strategies, participating in client development, preparing presentations, tracking pursuits and client requests, and generating reports 
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or other closely related field 
  • 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in the A/E/C industry 
  • Exceptional organizational and research skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team 
  • A service and client-related mindset 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 
  • Adobe InDesign proficiency 
  • An understanding of the A/E/C industry, preferred 
  • Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment, preferred
