Main Responsibilities:

  • Support business development activities directly and indirectly. 
  • Plan proposal strategy, tactics, schedule. 
  • Provide input into the strategic positioning of proposal responses in conjunction with the leadership team. 
  • Evaluate content to ensure that it satisfies the RFP requirements/evaluation criteria, writes/edits proposal sections, and independently evaluates and clarifies client requests prior to submitting materials. 
  • Manage production and quality for all sales materials 
  • Maintain knowledge of Wold’s markets, clients, capabilities, staff and competitors to support the development of pursuit strategies. 
  • Collaborate with Partners to develop, implement and communicate sales strategies 
  • Oversee coordination of conference attendance and exhibits 
  • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key metrics

Our ideal candidate would possess many of these traits:

  • Previous experience in sales/marketing related position (5 years minimum) 
  • Ability to train and mentor sales/marketing team 
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized, and a team player. 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a team based environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce) to manage the sales process and forecast sales 
  • Ability to develop outcomes with multiple stakeholders 
  • Solve problems effectively and efficiently 
  • Knowledge of the architectural/engineering design industry and proposal process is a plus 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suites is a plus

Opportunities to grow and develop this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Help develop strategies to reinforce, promote and enhance our business through sales/marketing initiatives, materials, communication efforts and events 
  • Conduct research and evaluate various advertising, promotion, event and sponsorship opportunities 
  • Research and identify future market sector opportunities 
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Director of Marketing, Director of Sales and Corporate Leadership Team on strategies
