As a Marketing Web Developer, you will assist with the development and programming of web applications for Generac’s marketing websites. You will support development of email campaigns and implement tracking codes and analytics.

  • Responsible for leading the development and ongoing maintenance of content and page layouts on Generac websites using Kentico on behalf of the Digital Marketing team. 
  • Create and maintain documentation of website and related platforms and systems. 
  • In conjunction with the IT Infrastructure team, administer the website infrastructure to maintain 24/7/365 availability of the websites. 
  • Interact with off-shore contractors. Provide off-hours support of the website as needed. 
  • Interface with Marketing leaders to define and implement strategy to enhance user experience based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team to test and analyze campaign landing pages using appropriate tools and technologies. 
  • Develop and Debug new and existing web applications.

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience 
  • 5 years’ experience in website development programming using .NET / (C#).
  • Experience with CSS, JavaScript, and XML. 
  • 3 years’ experience developing within Content Management Systems, such as Kentico, Sitecore, or Sitefinity. 
  • 2 years’ experience leading website architecture. 
  • 2 years’ experience mentoring developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interacting with web services and APIs 
  • Experience in SQL server database design and development 
  • Experience with cloud-based network and server administration (Amazon Web Services, Azure) 
  • Experience with Google analytics 
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite 
  • Experience working in a Marketing environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing or related field

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
