Delta Defense, LLCi is the private company that provides Marketing, Operations and Customer Care for the USCCA. The USCCA provides self-defense education, training, and legal protection to the most responsible gun owners. The Marketing Services Director will pioneer and lead the in house agency concept in our fast growing, multi-channel-marketing based, membership business, supporting the mission and members of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA).


  • Lead and manage teams of marketing specialists, graphic designers, copywriters, videographers, photographers and client services specialists to ensure stakeholders’ needs are met while ensuring the deliverables align with the company’s brand and overall mission. 
  • Partner with sales teams, marketing channel teams, content creators and product development teams to turn marketing strategies into solutions that increase sales and build brand awareness. 
  • Support client services specialists in managing stakeholder relationships, working effectively with other creative service teams to get work executed and creating workflow efficiencies.
  • Inspires team culture and ensures that the environment is optimized to foster creativity, collaboration, excellence, agility, accountability and professional development. 
  • Working with other creative leaders, establish and manage the look, tone and feel of the company brand. Be the primary point of contact for outside agencies to ensure their output is aligned with the company brand. 
  • Evaluate workload, sources of requests and business impact to facilitate discussions with business partners and leadership on resource use and necessity to add team members 
  • Assures that roles, responsibilities and accountability for all team members are defined and understood

Skills/Abilities and Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, advertising, web development or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • 10+ years of experience in a progressive marketing and/or creative services roles including managing direct reports. 
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role directing concept, development, and production of creative projects across channels/media including experiential, social, digital, print collateral and retail point-of-sale. 
  • Demonstrated success as a visionary leader. Understand the impact a strong in-house agency can have on the success of Delta Defense and the USCCA brand and have the skills to drive that vision. 
  • Be creative AND customer-focused. Be able to create an amazing customer experience (for internal stakeholders) through collaboration, structure and quality creative services deliverables. 
  • Possess a sense of urgency with proactive identification of opportunities and risks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and make solid recommendations — Possess the ability to interpret reports, data and results into actionable suggestions that will form the future of the company’s business efforts 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of team members 
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships as well as influencing without authority 
  • Must be comfortable with change and ambiguity and possess the ability to lead the team through the ambiguity to the desired outcome
