Responsibilities

In the role of Marketing Services Manager for the MN/WI Transportation Business group, we'll count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for efficient operation of the marketing group and area marketing program 
  • Supervise area marketing staff, conduct goal planning and performance reviews, promoting an environment of continuous growth and development 
  • Ensure that schedules in proposal submissions are met and that various aspects of the proposals (technical scope, staff qualification and experience, biographical data, government forms, contract terms and conditions) are properly presented in a timely fashion 
  • Provide overall marketing direction for business area and oversee accurate CRM data management, capture and reporting of monthly marketing results 
  • Coordinate the maintenance of standardized marketing and presentation materials, résumés and project data including histories and photographs 
  • Direct staff necessary in capture planning, storyboarding and message development for pursuit efforts for pre-positioning on key pursuits 
  • Lead staff to conceptualize, research and produce marketing materials, proposals, promotions and presentations in accordance with corporate marketing standards 
  • Review and/or coordinate critical aspects of written proposal development, including compiling technical and non-technical data, assembly, editing, printing and submittal of proposal documents 
  • Coordinate with industry partners to secure relevant content consistent with an opportunity pursuit 
  • Be responsible for timely production and quality of other marketing materials and social media with appropriate context and messaging for intended audience(s) 
  • Support the planning and execution of industry conferences, promotions and artwork, and coordinate booth activities 
  • Continuously expand and update professional knowledge and skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity. 
  • Perform other management and marketing duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or closely related field 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Adobe InDesign 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to adjust to fit audience and message 
  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit marketing and technical collateral 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a desire to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven experience in proposal planning, project interviews and coordination 
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must 
  • 5+ years of experience in document layout, graphics, and the full document production process 
  • Progressive management experience of a marketing team, or equivalent experience 
  • Cooperative and team-orientated work style and customer-service focus 
  • Strong attention to detail and design capabilities 
  • Ability to successfully engage with diverse personalities, teams, regional and national groups, technical managers, and project staff 
  • Exhibits advanced knowledge of communication theory and layout and design principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in the A/E/C industry 
  • Preference given to local candidates
