Agape of Appleton, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic temporary Marketing/Social Media Intern who is highly motivated and comes with creative ideas to help achieve our social media goals! This position has the responsibility of building and engaging on all avenues of social media to help jumpstart one of our projects, Careers in Kindness for recruitment. If you voice your ideas and gain broad experience in marketing/social media, this internship is for you!

Essential Functions:

  • Manage our social media presence and brand image through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. 
  • Assist team with daily tasks like writing content, managing audience growth, and creating social media campaigns 
  • Combine creative campaign ideas with analytical skills to create successful posts 
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Junior or Senior college student pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or related field 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction 
  • General knowledge of various social media platforms

  • Problem Solving: the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully 
  • Interpersonal Skills: the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things 
  • Oral communication: the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts meetings 
  • Written Communication: the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information 
  • Dependability: the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

Paid. $12 per hour.
