Job Summary:

The Clinic Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for working with veterinary clinics across the country on developing marketing campaigns and marketing support services exclusive to their clinic that will increase revenue and business visibility. These duties will involve recommending and creating marketing collateral items, promotional programs and consulting on interactive properties, such as website development and e-mails, with clinic specific branding. The position will also work alongside various internal departments to develop and communicate the implementation of new projects as well as provide support to our sales force.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote, market, and facilitate the introduction of client facing marketing business services. Provide consulting on marketing collateral available by using effective sales and marketing techniques to assist assigned customers. Manage and develop working relationships through a consulting role on opportunities to bring visibility and increased sales revenue to customer’s practices. Manage the development strategy and communication of clinic marketing promotional materials, customized programs, sales incentives, digital properties, social media posts, and branding. Responsible for the project management and implementation of purchased marketing products and services by the practices.
  • Provide project management for clinic marketing projects through the development of creative briefs for Graphic Designers. Assist with the social media strategy, development of supporting digital collateral, conceptual design research and provide analytics for the social channels for our company. Manage the Clinic Marketing website by keeping marketing collateral current and relevant, on-board new users, intake of project requests, and assisting sales reps with inquiries.
  • Develop unique and exclusive opportunities and marketing collateral to continually increase the visibility of our company’s clinic marketing offerings and provide sales tools for our sales reps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily 
  • Advanced understanding of developing promotional marketing program for clients and measuring their success. 
  • Ability to present the image of Midwest to our clients in a professional manner 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications or other related field is required 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or related project management role 
  • Proven experience in developing relationships with clients 
  • Developing marketing strategies in print, event planning, and social media 
  • Experience in developing branded marketing collateral items such as flyers, brochures, posters, social posts, branded give-a-ways, business cards, and event planning support. 
  • Experience building projects that involve web properties and e-mail campaigns. 
  • Experience using MS Office and Adobe Writer required. 
  • Experience using InDesign software. 
  • Experience in a veterinary related field a plus 
  • Experience in working with the development and implementation of loyalty programs 
  • Ability to read, write and speak English 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. 
  • Ability to take constructive criticism of proposals from internal and external clients 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal creative resources 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and problem solve 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong project management and customer service skills 
  • Creative minded and promotion development experience 
  • Familiarity with copywriting, editing and design principals 
  • Ability to create designs in InDesign software
