The Field Marketing Specialist, Latin America & Caribbean is responsible for partnering with the Latin American region with a focus on building consumer awareness, delivering exceptional experiences and ultimately driving loyalty within the region and at the hotel level. Key focus on proactively consulting and providing marketing expertise and insights for both B2C and B2B activities. Additionally, this role executes day-to-day field and other marketing activities, assists with key initiatives within the Americas that brings the field marketing plan to life and contributes to overall business goals. This candidate must be proficient in English and Spanish, written and verbal required and seeking candidate in Minneapolis, Miami, Atlanta or Dallas.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages, leads and monitors day-to-day marketing communications with Latin America & Caribbean. 
  • Review and partner with Latin American & Caribbean hotel teams on Marketing Plans, local Partnership opportunities and other Marketing activities to benefit regional and individual hotel performance. 
  • Be the voice of the region and provide insights “from the field” to better improve Marketing tools, resources and processes. 
  • Increases efficiency and success of new regional openings within the online process and ramp up timeframe. 
  • Offers support to execute the field marketing plans for both B2C and B2B key marketing activities (promotions, destination marketing, tradeshows) within Latin America & the Caribbean. 
  • Assists to develop, present and launch marketing education to hotels; covering all areas of marketing and aligning with all hotel facing education. 
  • Liaises, communicates and collaborates with colleagues across functions and builds strong relationships (Branding, Brand Marketing, Revenue Optimization, Operations, Public Relations, Sales and Analytics) in the Americas theater to help achieve and meet Managed Hotels’ goals and objectives. 
  • Is a brand steward; reinforces the visual identity, tone of voice and all brand DNA components in all marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hospitality marketing experience required 
  • Proficient in English and Spanish, written and verbal required. 
  • Seeking candidate in Minneapolis, Miami, Atlanta or Dallas 
  • Proficient in Portuguese, written and verbal preferred. 
  • Experience working with Latin America & the Caribbean with knowledge of cultural and other regional nuances. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Marketing, Advertising or Communications. 
  • Self-starter with minimal need for day-to-day direction and an internal drive for results attitude. 
  • Critical thinking and planning; ability to connect the dots, anticipate what’s needed, problem-solve and work to achieve results. 
  • Experience working with vendor management and marketing agency partners. 
  • Experience with digital and traditional media – execution, monitoring & measurement. 
  • 25% travel within the region may be required. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally. 
  • Build and maintain relationships. 
  • Compassionate; demonstrates understanding the franchisee perspective, while reinforcing brand integrity and strength. 
  • Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters. 
  • Creative and business writing abilities, including editing and proofing. 
  • Public speaking, large and small groups. 
  • Organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
