Overview:

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid attention to detail and proven ability to produce high-quality output in line with set goals. The Marketing Communications Specialist II will develop strategic marketing and sales plans, help to execute deliverables, and manage our day-to-day operations to ensure deliverables meet marketing and sales needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Working with key stakeholders and sales staff to define marketing needs. 
  2. Preparing strategic marketing and sales plans that meet defined goals. 
  3. Leading assigned marketing campaigns and projects and handling the day-to-day execution of those campaigns and projects. 
  4. Marketing writing, including, but not limited to, developing drafts, incorporating feedback, and refining copy to the approval stage. 
  5. Scheduling and attending stakeholder meetings, as appropriate. 
  6. Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and notes; tracking meeting takeaways. 
  7. Maintaining a library of marketing and sales deliverables, including keeping marketing calendars up-to-date. 
  8. Establishing project timelines and working to ensure key milestones are met and projects are delivered on time. 
  9. Working with other internal teams and/or external vendors to prepare project estimates. 
  10. Reviewing all work from other team members and creative teams and obtaining stakeholder approval for strategic direction, grammatical, technical and visual accuracy, and overall brand consistency. 
  11. Assisting with the planning and coordination of conference and event deliverables. 
  12. Being the primary point of contact with production and other external vendors for estimating and production of work orders. 
  13. Evaluating results of campaign, project, and/or marketing communications plan along with the marketing manager. 
  14. Compiling information, secondary research, and/or other assigned projects and campaigns.
  15. Adhering to team processes and procedures.

EDUCATION:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related field

EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-5 years in a marketing position
