Working within the Motion Service in New Berlin, Wisconsin, you will be responsible for implementing product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy.

In this role you will coordinate sales activities, events and market research to meet business goals and increase market share.

This position reports to the Local Communication Manager US Motion Service.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading digital customer experiences through the execution of strategic integrated marketing plans, innovative promotions and campaigns, cohesive brand narrative and modern communication strategies 
  • Partnering with cross function teams and colleagues to ensure alignment of program communication execution in support of new product launches and demand generation initiatives including integrated marketing campaigns, channel/partner programs, email marketing, trade shows and other events 
  • Managing marketing agency partners and fulfillment vendors to insure continued strategic alignment and executional excellence 
  • Defining and aligning teams on ROI (Return on investment) analyses and campaign metrics to show engagement and reach of specific vehicles or campaigns 
  • Enforcing proper brand usage and ensuring full brand compliance in created materials (visual/verbal/written/image identity)
  • Apply SEO (Search Engine Optimization) insights to increase traffic and improve organic visibility across content initiatives
  • Plan, write and proof high quality written content that advances the editorial vision and mission of the brand. Will be responsible for writing site content, product and print descriptions, ads, emails, social and other marketing materials, across both B2B and B2C business units
  • Plan, execute and manage content creation initiatives for digital and offline channels; aligned to content strategies, campaign and business goals; that culminate in the delivery of new content that is engaging, relevant and on brand

Your background:

  • Bachelor degree and 3 years professional experience in marketing communications and/or content creation OR Associate degree and 5 years professional experience in marketing communications and/or content creation OR High school diploma/GED and 7 years professional experience in marketing communications and/or content creation required 
  • Up to 10% travel required 
  • Have a strong understanding of marketing communication channels, with strength in digital content creation/writing and demand generation campaigns 
  • Ability to understand and translate technical concepts, applications and product offerings into easily digestible, compelling messaging 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate marketing objectives into the execution of a detailed, communication plan with online and offline tactics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, excellent Excel and Power Point skills, use of SalesForce Account Engagement (fka Pardot) a plus 
  • Ability to create graphics a plus, but not required (knowledge of Adobe suite or Canva) 
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
