Champion the marketing technologies used by the university to ensure they are being used to their maximum capacity to aid in accomplishing overall marketing and university goals through proactive management/administration, training/support, and continual improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the university’s collection of marketing technologies including the web content management system, forms application, email marketing system, and web analytics. 
  • Provide training and support to both marketing colleagues and university partners in the use, best-practice, and continual improvement of our collection of marketing technologies. 
  • Serve as project manager for projects related to marketing technologies ensuring that projects meet defined goals and within available timeframes and serving as a connection between Marketing and ITS. 
  • Manage the queue of incoming requests to resolve or assign to the appropriate colleague(s). 
  • Manage a team of student workers.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with marketing technologies: web analytics (Google Analytics, etc.), marketing automation, media (Doubleclick, Google Adwords, etc.), CRM (Salesforce), CMS (Cascade), data dashboards (Domo), email marketing (Campaign Monitor), project management tools (Basecamp, Smartsheets, etc.) 
  • Experience with implementing work flows and publishing processes for content on the web 
  • Ability to develop and administer training programs 
  • Ability to work well on group projects 
  • Experience delivering support to people through email or over the phone 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently 

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience working with marketing technologies, teaching/training, and support.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Additional Information:

  • This is a 1.0 FTE, 12 month position. Possible evening and weekend support.
