Marketing Specialist
Twin Cities Metro
Woodbury, MN

The marketing specialist is responsible for helping develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels, researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy and managing the customer relationship management software (Sugar). Working collaboratively with Sales and Design and other departments to implement and manage various internal and external communications and marketing materials for the company. There will be a significant focus on creating and developing creative content across different mediums.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Provide support to sales team and manage 
  • Develop, implement and track marketing programs such as email, social media, digital campaigns, and events 
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Design team (and other internal departments) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives 
  • Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns 
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities 
  • Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met 
  • Write, proofread and edit compelling creative and technical content across different mediums 
  • Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information 
  • Process customer and vendor orders accurately and timely, including entering sales orders, creating purchase orders, entering and maintaining data 
  • Support internal communications, such as project updates, events, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field 
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing preferred 
  • Experience implementing and managing customer relationship management (CRM) software (Sugar preferred) 
  • Experience with digital marketing channels and with using web and marketing metrics to evaluate content and drive decisions 
  • Experience creating and writing compelling creative and technical content for various internal and external communications


  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools and content management systems 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Skilled in creative and technical writing and editing content with an attention to detail 
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills


  • Frequent sitting and/or standing


  • Work is done primarily in an office environment 
  • Ability to travel as necessary (less than 10%)
