The Marketing Associate is responsible for coordinating marketing activities to promote filtration products for the Industrial Finishing market, including but not limited to trade show coordination, marketing communications, pricing and Catalogue materials, marketing analysis and reporting. This is an entry-level position with potential to advance into Sales or Product Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marketing activities to promote products including but not limited to trade shows, marketing communications, promotional and lead generation activity, and social media. 
  • Manage all aspects of trade show coordination, including travel & booth sales efforts. 
  • Manage and analyze product pricing structure by monitoring adherence to list price discount schedules and identifying low margin products and customers to be reviewed with upper management. 
  • Assist in development and distribution of product catalogue updates on annual basis. 
  • Develop data-based reports to assist in the monitoring and evaluation of marketing initiatives. 
  • Provide supporting product revenue reports to assist Sales & Account Managers in managing their respective business partners and channels. 
  • Monitor, gather and distribute information regarding industry news, market research, and trends. 
  • Monitor and update marketing content displayed on company’s website focused on industry trends, customer case studies, and new product information. 
  • Track website analytics and develop programs to drive sales and traffic through ecommerce platform. 
  • Assist in building the sales channel through identifying tradeshows and other market opportunities for expansion 
  • Work with Sales and Customer Care to build a pool of key opinion leaders for new and existing products 
  • Assist in implementation of consistent utilization of CRM database (Salesforce.com) and ensure integrity of customer specific information entered in the database. 
  • Utilize our CRM database (Salesforce.com) to reach out to prospects and existing customers to increase sales and build awareness. 
  • Coordinate compliance and customer qualification requests and certifications Certificate of Origin and Certificate of Compliance coordinator
  • Associates degree required or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred (i.e. business administration, marketing)
  • Must enjoy working with customers and being actively engaged in the Selling Process.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with a high level of organizational skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables
  • Creating reports and trending analysis
  • Must have efficient time management skills to handle multiple project deliverables with tight deadlines.
  • Fast learner, adept at understanding and articulating new technologies and processes.
  • Energetic, creative, organized, and self-motivated
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other Sales-oriented software a plus
