The Marketing Specialist implements hospital-wide internal and external communications.

 Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Writes, designs and proofreads newsletters, press releases, feature articles, social media, website content and advertisements.
  • Serves as editor and production manager for monthly internal employee and external newsletters. 
  • Project lead for special marketing programs based on the needs of the organization. 
  • Coordinates hospital promotional events such as open houses, ceremonies, county fairs, health fairs; videography and photography as needed. 
  • Plans and implements department events such as physician seminars, open hours, health fairs, etc. 
  • Manages healthcare system’s content on company website 
  • Keeps abreast of health care issues and health care public relations and advertising issues and suggest enhancements and strategies.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Valid, current Wisconsin driver's license upon hire. 
  • 1-2 years of marketing and public relations experience. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to perform public relations, marketing, and community interactions. 
  • Knowledge with graphic design, social media, newsletter production and feature writing and media relations.
