Position Summary:

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans is searching for a Marketing Specialist who can develop and implement fresh content across various digital and print platforms. We’re looking for someone who loves a good data dive and implementing process improvement but also can create compelling copy.

What You Would Actually Be Doing:

  • Lead the tactical marketing execution of assigned programs by planning and managing promotional campaigns. Included are: media planning, campaign/project management, behavioral-based marketing management, copy writing, email marketing, webpage management, social media and oversight of graphic design and the creative process.
  • Collect and analyze relevant membership and market data, competitive practices, industry trends and growth opportunities. Research and identify new potential customers and reengagement strategies for continued growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute a fully integrated multi-channel marketing approach to set up campaign workflows, segmentation, lead nurturing and drip campaigns to support the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Track and analyze ROI and KPIs of marketing programs and campaigns and make recommendations for improvement while using both on-line and off-line data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for marketing campaign improvements and workflow developments.
  • Support the marketing initiatives by utilizing the Foundation’s email service provider with creative and cleanly built email communications. Leverage the Foundation’s customer database to target communications effectively and manage a product’s marketing communication campaigns as assigned.
  • Provide support in the development of the marketing operations strategy to create scalable processes utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and/or other third-party platforms to improve product/marketing campaign setup, tracking and data analytics.

Your Background:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or related degree with at least three years of successful marketing communications, advertising, copywriting or public relations experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills 
  • Knowledge of direct marketing terminology and concepts 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills 
  • Understanding of an integrated data base programs such as CRM 
  • Successful in direct marketing, email marketing, online marketing, and digital/interactive media 
  • Comfortable working with data analytics and web content management 
  • Familiarity with online communications including search engine optimization

In addition, it is essential that the individual be a team player able to multi-task while working in a diverse business environment. The successful individual will be detail orientated, self-motivated, a good communicator, with good organizational skills, creative and possess team collaborative skills.

The individual must be able to travel (approximately 10%) and be able to work in a normal office environment.
