The Marketing Specialist, under the direction of the Marketing Manager, will be responsible for completing assigned tasks that contribute to the success of the marketing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops print media such as fliers, brochures, pamphlets, direct mail, newsletters. 
  • Builds, executes and optimizes acquisition and retention email campaigns, creates marketing automation plans, develops email templates. 
  • Supports digital advertising initiatives, including website content, social media and various other advertising execution. 
  • Manages branded giveaway materials and company-wide apparel. 
  • Develops targeted campaigns across all business segments in collaboration with key partners across multiple departments. 
  • Coordinates trade show scheduling, contracts and sponsorships. 
  • Manages directories, association memberships and trade publications ads. 
  • Develops and maintains a brand identity guide to ensure brand standards are followed for all internal and external materials as well as all 24 JX Truck Center facilities. 
  • Assists with various event planning, coordination and execution throughout the organization.
  • Works with the Adobe Creative Suite to create all marketing collateral. 
  • Stays current on emerging graphic technologies and marketing design trends. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred. 
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative suite including InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop required. 
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing graphic design skills and creative design for print may be requested. 
  • Photography & Videography experience beneficial. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Detail oriented and the ability to follow-up on tasks. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
  • Self-Starter, team player, yet able to work independently. 
  • Basic experience with Google Apps required. 
  • Knowledge in social media tools and techniques preferred. 
  • Ability to travel when necessary. 
  • Valid Driver’s license required. 
  • Technology/Equipment: Strong computer skills
