This position helps execute go-to-market strategies and communications for NORD Gear by creating marketing content related to the company, its products, and their applications. Also creates and coordinates traditional and online marketing communication projects including trade show marketing, catalog proofing and production, website content, press releases, email marketing, social media, press releases, internal and external business communications, and more. In addition, this position manages updates, changes, and production for all existing and new product literature and also aids in other tasks as needed, such as staff training, customer visits, reporting, etc.

  • Produce, write, edit, and proofread corporate, product and/or customer story content for B2B marketing 
  • Manage product launch activities with cooperation from engineering, training, and sales 
  • Coordinate updates to existing literature. Create new literature and coordinate production. 
  • Create marketing content for web sites, social media, email marketing, press releases, case studies, flyers, catalogs, media opportunities, training, and trade shows 
  • Set, manage, and meet marketing project deadlines. Provide timely results and accurate materials.
  • Contribute to improving our work processes and results. Maintain positive, professional conduct and interactions.
  • Education: 4 Year College Degree 
  • Experience: 3+ years of marketing and writing experience in a B2B OEM or power transmission industry. Experience promoting technical products and services. Knowledge of NORD products, competitors, and customers, or similar B2B business models is desired. 
  • High level of organization, project coordination, and computer skills. Skilled in communications, writing, editing, social media strategy, online marketing, and website content management. Flexible to changing requirements, ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and be a professional, positive team player. Able to work on own and with others, excellent problem-solving skills, creative, adaptive, and assertive. 
  • Able to work with these software systems: Microsoft 365, HubSpot, CMS systems, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). 
  • Able to work at a desk for 8+ hours per days. Minimal travel required.
