Brands within the Orbus Visual Communications group include The Exhibitors' Handbook®, The Promo Handbook™, Nimlok®, Fabric Images®, SEG Systems & Services®, and SignPro Systems®. We are headquartered in Woodridge, IL and seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist/Manager to join an agency-like marketing team.

The ideal candidate is organized and creative, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of projects. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven, hands-on team player who interacts well with others, has strong communication, writing, and project management skills, as well as a strong eye for good design. Copywriting, product marketing, and branding experience is a must.

The Marketing Specialist/Manager will work directly with all roles within the team – Management, Design, Web and Video. This position is a full time, in-person position and is the Marketer’s dream job!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting and content creation in support of new product/project introductions, marketing campaigns and corporate communications 
  • Creative direction & content development for promotional emails, press releases, social media posts, web pages, ads, power point presentations and collateral materials 
  • Project manage marketing communications programs – advertising, public relations and social media, as well as Business Award submissions and applications 
  • Product information creation, management on websites and external product databases 
  • Data analysis & metric tracking of advertising, PR, social media programs to proactively monitor Y/Y growth and KPI achievement 
  • Manage the company’s promotional product sourcing and projects 
  • Manage the company’s showroom products & collateral assets 
  • Budget management & expense tracking

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Business Communications 
  • 2-7 years in B2B marketing preferred 
  • Copywriting, branding and product marketing experience is a must. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Analytics, CRM Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite a PLUS 
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems, Hub Spot, Marketing Automation a PLUS
