Position Summary:

Principal Duties:

(35%) Develops, implements, and disseminates marketing materials through various communication mediums utilizing appropriate technologies and techniques

  • Content development and writing for marketing pieces targeted at diverse audiences to support member recruitment, engagement, and retention
  • Create, update, and publish content on website and social media
  • Graphic design, editing, layout, and production of printed and electronic materials 

(25%) Develops, implements, and maintains strategic marketing plans based on research and established strategies

(25%) Collects, analyzes, prepares, summarizes, and disseminates data and trends relevant to ongoing or future marketing activities

(15%) Support the planning, marketing, and execution of the UWEBC annual conference by helping to implement a digital marketing plan, website creation and application/virtual platform configuration and development, sponsor coordination, and creation of event handouts and signage

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field required.
  • 4 years post-baccalaureate professional experience in marketing required
  • Experience with event planning and promotion preferred
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and website design software such as Adobe Dreamweaver and WordPress preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with an email marketing program, such as ClickDimensions, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact preferred
  • Familiarity with a CRM (customer relationship management) system, such as Microsoft Dynamics preferred

Minimum $50,000 ANNUAL (12 months), Full Time: 100%. Depending on Qualifications.
