Vivacity Infrastructure Group is seeking a dynamic, outgoing individual skilled in B2B marketing, content creation and graphic design to join our Marketing team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will support our Marketing, Proposal Development and Business Development Departments by providing creative, customer-focused marketing and brand-building content and collateral to target and capture new customer opportunities and reinforce Vivacity’s brands within the markets we serve. The Marketing Specialist will help develop, execute and analyze everything from social media, blogs and website content to corporate videos, newsletters and more. Our ideal candidate is creative – yet detail-oriented – an excellent communicator and has exceptional writing ability. The Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Proposal Development and work collaboratively with our Business Development and Operational Departments to develop marketing solutions that inspire and drive results!

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who possesses an artistic flair and is committed to developing high-quality work that exceeds expectations. This person will be dedicated to hard work, eager to introduce new marketing concepts and thrive in a team environment. We seek someone who is willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to make Vivacity and its portfolio companies shine, whether it’s ordering business cards, helping plan a special event, assisting with new client proposals and everything in between!

This is a remote position located in Omaha, NE or Naperville, IL that requires occasional office visits.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with all departments to develop and execute marketing campaigns that articulate Vivacity and its portfolio of companies’ capabilities and service offerings, drive new business opportunities and reinforce our companies’ brands across all media platforms
  • Developing and designing sales enablement materials, including company brochures, white papers, marketing slicks, website content, videos, case studies and large-scale print projects and more while ensuring consistency in brand messaging across all content and communication channels
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all marketing campaigns
  • Understanding competitor product and service offerings and identifying key differentiators to utilize in our sales and marketing initiatives
  • Developing co-branded marketing materials that promote our customers’ network assets and projects while simultaneously respecting and incorporating their brand guidelines
  • Updating and consistently refreshing company websites, adding new content and pages while incorporating SEO best practices and monitoring results
  • Working with vendors to collect estimates, order business cards, posters, banners and other print materials, tradeshow giveaways, etc. and ensuring product or service received is of the highest quality and represents our company with integrity
  • Creating and maintaining social media marketing calendar
  • Serving as the subject matter expert on Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Monitoring and reporting internal brand compliance issues
  • Participating in yearly budget planning, tracking expenses and submitting invoices for payment
  • Supporting Business Development in proposal writing and client-specific presentations, as needed
  • Meeting the Marketing team’s objectives and day-to-day marketing activities while adhering to deadlines with effective time management skills and established approval channels and procedures

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, advertising, journalism or another related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years progressively responsible work experience in marketing communications, social media marketing, advertising or other marketing/communications-related environment
  • Strong digital marketing experience (social media, blog posts, SEO, analytics)
  • Excellent writing ability
  • Experience in multiple aspects of marketing that demonstrates creative thinking as well as critical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to comprehend complex technical writing
  • Highly skilled in MS Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator applications
  • Working knowledge of Squarespace and Hootsuite is a definite plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Telecommunications, engineering or construction industry knowledge is preferred but not required
