Media/Account Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee , WI

Zizzo Group is hiring a strategic and experienced Media and Account Manager with excellent communication, interpersonal, media and account management skills. ZG is a collaborative, fast-paced Engagement Marketing firm where you will be leading and managing work across a variety of media, digital and integrated marketing clients.

This role necessitates the duality of a Media Planner/Buyer and Account Manager, requiring you to switch between these roles. Essential to this both these positions is the ability to effectively lead and work collaboratively with agency teams across digital, web, creative, production, social, media, and PR. More than anything, you must be passionate about results-driven work, and confident and skilled enough to lead its creation.



  • Contribute to the development of integrated media plans, founded on strategy, with a keen understanding of the client’s business and marketing objectives
  • Develop and present media strategy and recommendations, with the ability to articulate clearly, both in writing and through presentations
  • Apply high levels of effective media buy negotiation, securing the most effective and efficient media for clients 
  • Perform timely media invoice auditing and reconciliation
  • Be proficient with Strata media buying platform, learning all aspects of what it has to offer
  • Work to understand your client’s business and industry, in particular those that impact their marketing and advertising efforts
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams 


  • Acts as a day-to-day lead and liaison for both client and internal teams, collaborating effectively toward a common goal of delivering results-driven work
  • Works closely with project management and agency teams to ensure delivery of client commitments of time and on budget
  • Develops a knowledge of various clients'businesses, competitors, industries and other related areas to best develop marketing strategies, lead marketing plans and create measurable results
  • Creates thoughtful creative briefs, client estimates, proposals, presentations, monthly reporting and other key documents
  • Leads development of marketing and communication strategy for accounts
  • Professionally leads client discovery and whiteboard sessions
  • Helps to develop new business proposals and presentations
  • Stay up to date with the latest media marketing trends, and industry best practices


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Practical experience with buying traditional media, encompassing various channels, such as radio, television, cable and out-of-home advertising
  • Willing to provide media planning/buying training for the right candidate
  • Experience managing integrated marketing projects across a wide-array of channels and services (web, mobile, social, search, digital, traditional media, P.R., etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Preferably experience working within Strata or other similar media planning and buying platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and positive attitude
  • Autonomous working skills, while working well as part of an integrated team
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
