Media Buyer / Planner

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paid Media Buyer / Planner. This role will lead the day-to-day management of paid media planning, and buying for our clients as well as help develop new business opportunities.

You will collaborate and coordinate with the internal creative team during campaign concepting to ensure that the campaign objectives are not only met, but exceeded.

  • Develop and execute media plans and buys for several clients. This can be inclusive of traditional media (television, radio, print and out-of-home) anddigital media(paid social, paid search and programmatic display, native and video). 
  • Ensure proper trafficking, creative allocation, and billing for several clients. 
  • Proactively optimize campaigns. 
  • Prepare and present campaign reporting/recommendations to both client and internal teams. 
  • Set up and monitor digital and traditional paid media campaigns within various platforms. 
  • Assist with Invoicing and Client Billing. 
  • Keep up-to-date with audience preferences and proactively suggest new recommendations. 
  • Liaise with Client and Creative team to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency. 
  • Research industry trends and stay abreast of current and upcoming technology to support current and future media plans. 
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of paid media in this ever-changing atmosphere. 
  • Readers are leaders – maybe it’s the latest advertising trends and technologies that we can draw inspiration from, or news from or about our area businesses that may provide opportunities, or an article about your favorite pet or yoga pose. 
  • Deliver the Ruckus as needed.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or advertising related fields and have at least two years of experience in digital marketing and advertising. The candidate will enjoy high levels of responsibility and autonomy and should show an ability for creativity and strategic thinking. Advanced computer proficiency is required. 
  • Hands-on experience running paid advertising campaigns (Traditional media, Meta, Google Adwords, YouTube, Programmatic). 
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Analytics or related analytics platform. 
  • Strong attention to detail. Strong local/regional knowledge of the media landscape. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both in a team and independently. 
  • Ability to learn/self-teach new concepts quickly and apply them. 
  • Ability to work with little supervision. 
  • Passion for the advertising and marketing industry. 
  • Passion for reporting, analytics and results. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as GoogleSuite.

Pay range, dependent on experience.

Full-time: Base + Commission; 

Freelance and Part-time: Hourly
