While carrying out the job duties listed below, the Media Manager contributes to our continued business success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal and professional dedication to our Mission, Vision, and Values, and demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

  1. Manage the day-to-day planning and operations of the social media, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital programs to align with business objectives, support team growth and development, and implementation of new initiatives. This includes but is not limited to the following: research, negotiations, media buying, post buy analysis, added-value opportunities, vendor relations, budgeting, and reconciliation. 
  2. *Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training team members; scheduling and motivating team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members up to and including termination; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. 
  3. *Make actionable recommendations for social and digital plans by analyzing qualitative and quantitative ratings and data. 
  4. *Plan, create, and implement paid social media campaigns on social media networks with appropriate audience targeting that aligns with the company’s social media strategy. 
  5. *Create and maintain all reports and analysis pertinent to the media plan, SEO, and digital metrics, including but not limited to media flow charts, budget spreadsheets, reach and frequency analysis, social media tracking, competitive spending, and web ad effectiveness. 
  6. *Drive innovation by leveraging new media platforms and tactics to engage with the audience and develop innovative programs that set the bar in media return on investment. 
  7. *Collaborate with marketing team members to ensure effectiveness of media placement and overall communication activities including but not limited to online marketing campaigns, online advertising, promotions, email campaigns, website design, advertising, and graphic design. 
  8. *Assist the Marketing Director to develop and implement fiscal advertising budgets and ensure maximum utilization of budget. 
  9. Ensure that the implementation of the media plan works effectively to express the overall marketing strategy as developed by the marketing team. 
  10. Maintain a strong understanding of social and digital trends to ensure plans are in line with best practices and tracking and analytics are properly implemented. 
  11. Establish, update, and ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. 
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 5 years of related marketing experience that includes managing a wide range of existing and emerging media channels are required. If no degree, 7 years of marketing experience managing a wide range of existing and emerging media channels. 
  2. Three years of supervisory experience is required. 
  3. Three years of direct experience with managing social media and digital marketing campaigns is required. 
  4. Understanding of media buying tools, including Prime Lingo, Strata, and Neilson is required. 
  5. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Macintosh operating systems. Knowledge of designing software, social media management tools, and web design applications, preferred. Google Analytics and Google AdWords certification preferred. 
  6. Experience using Google Analytics, AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google’s keyword tool and Spredfast (or other social media management tool). 
  7. The ability to read and interpret documents such as technical journals, financial reports, contracts, and legal documents. 
  8. The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  9. The ability to interact with and understand the interests of stakeholders at all levels, as well as the impact of those interests on PH&C and its goals. The ability to communicate effectively before groups of guests or team members of the organization. 
  10. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. 
  11. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. 
  12. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
