Zizzo Group Marketing + PR + New Media has an immediate opening for a seasoned Media Planner/Buyer, with experience in traditional and digital media (web, mobile, social, search). We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, has exceptional attention to detail, and will provide strategic thinking with an eye toward results.

The Media Planner/Buyer is responsible for all facets of planning and buying. Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and buy media
  • Promotional coordination
  • Daily interaction with external clients throughout the media planning and buying cycle
  • Strategic thinking
  • Maintain knowledge of client’s industry and apply to media approach
  • Compile post buy analytics detailing campaign performance
  • Establish strong professional media vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with each department effectively toward a common goal of delivering results-driven campaigns
  • Demonstrate professional growth by keeping apprised of new and emerging media trends
  • Leverage media industry insights to educate the greater team and to bring creative ideas and solutions to life
  • Be a team player

This ideal candidate will have the following experience and skill set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field
  • 5+ years of media agency experience
  • Buying experience within traditional media and digital (web, mobile, social, search)
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, with an efficient approach to managing workload
  • Demonstration of strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact successfully with internal team members and external clients
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with STRATA media buying software strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
