Crowe LLP is seeking a talented and self-motivated media relations senior associate.

Reporting to the Crowe media relations team lead, the media relations associate is responsible for identifying media outlets and preparing appropriate pitches; tracking and coding media coverage; drafting and distributing news releases; coordinating interview opportunities for Crowe thought leaders, including ad-hoc media training as necessary; working directly with the firm’s public relations agency on identified projects; pitching and coordinating bylined articles in external publications; proactively leading firmwide social media content development and initiatives; and fostering relationships with editors, reporters and key media to maintain and increase positive media coverage for Crowe.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, English or Marketing/Communications 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive corporate external communications experience (agency is acceptable) with a focus on media relations; business-to-business/professional services experience is preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint) required 
  • Experience with media relations software including Cision, PR Newswire, etc. is preferred.
  • Experience working with social media/content creation tools (Sprout Social, Canva, Camtasia, etc.) is preferred 
  • Experience writing news releases, media pitches, social media posts is required.
