General Summary:

The media specialist will work with marketing leadership and strategic business partners to manage paid and social media initiatives for all Advarra business lines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party media partners to buy, plan, schedule, and coordinate creation and optimization of engaging digital, print, pay-per-click (PPC), and social ads and posts. The successful candidate will play an integral role in generating sales leads, drive web traffic, engage social channel followers, optimize PPC campaigns, establish Advarra as an industry thought leader, and inform ROI metrics and dashboards.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Add value to strategic marketing campaigns with a focus on advertising channels and social media to support Advarra initiatives, and measure their effectiveness
  • Increase brand awareness for our solutions, drive traffic to the Advarra website, and help convert qualified visitors into customers
  • Plan and schedule advertising programs and social media posts in advance to support integrated marketing campaigns
  • Identify milestones for creation and delivery of artwork to third parties
  • Manage Google Ads, LinkedIn, Twitter, retargeting, and other related account platforms to optimize effectiveness and drive engagement
  • Collaborate with the marketing strategic business partners for each business line to curate and create content that clearly articulates benefits of our products and services
  • Partner with marketing team members to synthesize SEO and web analytics trends with PPC ad strategies
  • Schedule weekly social media posts and engagements, and potentially work with outside agencies on organic visibility programs
  • Oversee and maintain paid media budget limits for PPC and retargeting platforms
  • Negotiate ad buys with third parties and adhere to budget
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs
  • Seek out new media channels to reach our target audiences and determine if appropriate for target personas
  • Help establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in media planning and optimization

Experience:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience in paid media required
  • 2+ years of experience with print and digital ad specs required
  • 1+ years of experience with inbound marketing experience in a B2B industry preferred
  • 2 years of experience with paid media (i.e. Google Ads) and social media platforms (i.e. Sprout) is required
  • Experience within the clinical research or software industry is preferred
  • Experience with WordPress or other Content Management Systems is preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems is preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • An interest in understanding the industry and our business' mission required
  • Demonstrated experience in using inbound and outbound marketing strategies to optimize customer leads and retention
  • Ability to work highly collaboratively with cross-functional teams, while also possessing strong organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts and deadlines
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to understand an audience/industry Excellent independent and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
