Position Summary:

Bold Orange is seeking a bold, strategic, curious spirit to join our growing, human-led, purposeful, brave, and future focused agency. As the Media Strategist, you can expect to collaborate to identify, manage, and execute agency and client initiatives that result in forward thinking customer experience solutions. The Media Strategist, forever curious and always thinking about “what’s next”, will develop and implement impactful tactical plans forour clients. They are expected to have a strong working knowledge of the digital media landscape, particularly paid social.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, launch, and optimize cross-channel media strategies via a range of digital platforms and mediums 
  • Drive strategic alignment with all media stakeholders to ensure client’s strategic approach is integrated into all paid media including content, messaging, and creative 
  • Execute, report on and continuously optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels such as paid search, paid social, display advertising and re-targeting 
  • Implement and manage programmatic buys across multiple demand side platforms and social media platforms 
  • Partner with client strategists and search experts to develop paid search strategies that support client business objectives 
  • Create campaigns using best practices to gain relevancy and innovative ideas to stand out among the competition 
  • Responsible for driving client narrative integrating organic media channels and omnichannel analytics 
  • Responsible for writing media briefs and providing campaign strategy guidance 
  • Reimagines what “media” means in a rapidly changing world current with emerging trends 
  • Manage budgets and results across multiple platforms 
  • Execute optimization strategies through automation tools and through platform editor/interfaces to meet or exceed user and client goals 
  • Execute advanced remarketing campaigns 
  • Develop testing strategies to ensure decisions and optimizations are data and market driven 
  • Present to clients in educational capacities, explaining the recommendations to clients with varying levels of maturity in digital marketing 
  • Stay informed on the latest thinking and best practices around digital marketing trends, media buying and attribution to identify potential new channels/strategies to keep us ahead

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of media experience digging into details, providing recommendations, and delivering measurable results 
  • Inhouse agency experience strongly preferred 
  • Data-driven mindset 
  • Strong decision-making, organization, time-management, planning, and problem-solving skills 
  • Equal parts big thinker/big doer 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and the implications that technology has on developing strategies and execution plans 
  • Solid grasp of how paid media channels work together to create a cohesive, personalized marketing program for the customer - not just knowledge of one channel 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment 
  • Certification in Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager a plus 
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills to educate and justify paid media strategies and recommendations 
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to present recommendations that are clear and concise to client partners with varying levels of maturity in digital marketing 
  • Passion for demonstrating relatable and persuasive cross-channel digital marketing strategies and technologies both in person and/or virtually
