BVK is seeking an experienced Media Supervisor. The Media Supervisor is accountable for media strategy development, output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence. This position will contribute to the process of strategic media planning – including audiences, channel selection, and ad tech to deliver on strategy. The Media Supervisor will also serve as an advice and counsel resource for the media implementation and buying teams.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate ability to utilize resources to help guide client’s marketing goals in their respective markets (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data)
  • Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for client’s media strategies
  • Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets and related dynamics
  • Maintain relationships with the media and ad tech community; continue to develop publisher and higher relationships for the exchange of ideas
  • Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels Manage expectations of clients and deliverables
  • Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to the team, and presenting to a client
  • Capable of effectively managing up and down the reporting structure
  • Provide and/or guide strategic input for all assigned plans internally and externally
  • Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary
  • Establish and maintain communications process with clients, digital and offline media teams, etc. for each piece of business within the team
  • Direct the development of client presentations and other important communication that is clear, compelling, and persuasive
  • Contribute or lead in-person client presentations

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5 + years of media planning experience with a heavy emphasis on digital channels
  • Understanding of key research sources (MRI/Simmons, Nielsen, Comscore, etc.)
  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media
  • Knowledge of essential media planning tools
  • Knowledge of media buying strategies
  • Knowledge of digital measurement/ analytics
  • Knowledge of programmatic, SEM, and paid social buying strategies
