As a Colle McVoy Media Supervisor, you’d be part of a team that creates meaningful connections and champions innovative plans across a spectrum of channels and first-to-market opportunities. We’re looking for someone with proven experience supervising media teams, while not being afraid to also roll up your sleeves and do the work. You’ll oversee a team of media planners and assistants and work alongside your AMD/GMD to create strategies, build plans and be accountable for ongoing stewardship. You’ll collaborate with internal cross-department teams and external partner to create competitive analyses, trend reports, audience profiles, media plans, optimizations/performance reports and overall financial stewardship to lead your clients’ businesses success. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accountability are must-haves. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, data-driven and creative thinker who wants to contribute from Day One, bringing a positive attitude with a drive towards teamwork, communication, strategic solutions and mentoring our media planners. Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and facilitate media strategy, plan development, execution, reporting and stewardship 
  • Master account and media vehicle knowledge 
  • Collaborate as part of core team to develop Communications and Media Strategies 
  • Manage and coordinate all media team strategic and investment efforts 
  • Determine planning and resource needs 
  • Establish audience profiles and primary strategies to guide media planning and annual evaluations 
  • Primary internal team and client-facing responsibility for media discipline 
  • Interact with multi-functional teams (Account Service, Creative, Analytics, Interactive, Account Planning, Public Relations, CRM) 
  • Guide strategic direction, review plan documents, provide proactive reporting/plan stewardship 
  • Lead client presentation development 
  • Facilitate media relationships to advance understanding of existing/emerging markets and industry 
  • Attend client meetings 
  • Schedule and attend media representative meetings 
  • Review and discuss opportunities with industry experts – educate team, evaluate industry trends, needs for research 
  • Participates in internal team and agency development 
  • Work with Media team leadership to determine goals and strategies for team development 
  • Train and mentor direct reports (media planners, assistant planners) on a daily basis 
  • Develop and present agency training presentations on new ideas; bring in relevant speakers for agency and group presentations

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience 
  • Five or more years of experience in media planning 
  • Experience across all media vehicles (television, digital, radio, print, out of home, etc.) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Ability to travel as needed
