The SHSMD membership manager develops, implements, evaluates and readjusts/refines comprehensive programs for membership growth, recruitment, and retention in alignment with strategic plan to achieve growth targets. Manages the membership cycle for VIP groups, special customer sections (e.g., government), and regional SHSMD chapters. Manages association volunteer leadership activities, member engagement activities, both online and in-person. Leads member orientation, recognition and awards, career related resources, and analyzes membership data, trends and financials, adjusting tactics as needed to meet strategic goals. Produces content relevant to membership interests, such as news, blogs, articles and key resources. Manages programs designed to engage and help members in their career/professional growth, such as Bridging Worlds/ADVANCE.
