WUWM is seeking a Membership Services Specialist to support WUWM Membership and Marketing activities.

This position will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Actively participate in station and develop department outreach events
  • Correspond with listeners/members via the Membership Hotline and WUWM general email inbox
  • Manage member records including payment information, member benefits and gifts in Constituent Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Member fulfillment – generate renewal and acknowledgement letters, day sponsorship forms, newsworthy cards, donation receipts, donor statements, and other items as needed
  • Produce monthly reports for Membership/Development colleagues
  • Assist Marketing Manager with email surveys, renewals via Active Campaign platform, contests, member drive premiums
  • Enter and maintain data in CRM to ensure records are accurate and current
  • Serve as first point of contact with WUWM constituents requiring experience in customer service
  • Assist with other membership initiatives as needed and other duties as assigned
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of donations in the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) while adhering to the defined process for financial controls and accuracy of donation entry per the established procedures and in compliance with policies, timelines, donor intent, and IRS regulations.

Please note that evening and weekend hours are required as needed to work membership and station related events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

OR 

  • H.S. Diploma and 2 years of experience in non-profit fundraising or customer service 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with databases and reporting software – Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Experience working with colleagues with a diverse array of perspectives and backgrounds

Target Salary Range - $22.00 - $24.00 an hour (Final offer will be determined by finalist's experience, training, education, and equity-based factors.)
