Our mobile app is the healthy way of life companion for millions of members, offering guided workouts, training programs, nutrition plans, meditations, and expert advice to support every stage of their journey.

We’re seeking an App Content Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of campaigns and content within our mobile app, with the goal of driving engagement and retention. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, performance analysis, and content curation — leveraging data to identify what sparks a member’s interactions, conversions/purchases, satisfaction, and long-term value. Working closely with analytics, marketing, content, and product teams, you’ll play a critical role in shaping an experience that keeps members inspired, informed, and coming back.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the app publishing calendar to maximize engagement across diverse audience segments while supporting key objectives for 15+ internal business units. Includes featured content, carousels, landing pages, L•AI•C AI prompts, and more.
  • Analyze in-app performance metrics (e.g., engagement trends, feature usage, content consumption) to identify high- and low-performing content types and user flows; provide strategic recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Identify creative fatigue through performance data and request updated assets and copy informed by behavioral insights and campaign goals to enhance creative positioning. Act as a steward of the Life Time brand, ensuring all assets adhere with brand guidelines while driving performance.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate content effectiveness and apply learnings to continually refine strategy.
  • Package and communicate performance findings, insights, and optimizations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams (marketing, product, creative, analytics, authoring).
  • Maintain an ongoing understanding of best practices around app strategy, personalization, and user retention.
  • Support publishing processes as needed.  

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder content calendars and workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; able to interpret and act on web or app analytics.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks and performance measurement tools for content optimization.
  • Understands marketing performance metrics. 
  • Proven ability to turn data into insight-driven recommendations and strategies.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across product, marketing, and analytics functions.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and solves problems with little oversight.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in digital strategy, content management, or engagement roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a membership-based, health/wellness, or lifestyle-focused app.
  • Understands mobile UX principles and user behavior in app-based experiences.
  • Familiar with segmentation and personalization tactics for content delivery.
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics and DOMO (or similar data visualization platforms).

Pay:

This is a salaried position starting at $70,000.00 and pays up to $97,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
