Mighteor is looking for a Motion Graphics Intern who wants valuable "hands on" experience and exposure to creating fun and beautiful videos for a variety of brands and services. The candidate should be driven, motivated and passionate about film and animation, illustration and great design. Our crew is collaborative, powerful and full of hustle. Does that sound like you?

The motion graphics intern will will work in collaboration with the animation and post-production team at Mighteor to do the following:

  • Create storyboards, mood boards and style frames for upcoming projects
  • Assist in creating and animating lower thirds, graphic assets, and graphic templates
  • Create awesome content for our Mighteor Instagram social account

Background, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Recent graduate or working towards a degree in animation, illustration, graphic design or related field
  • Demo reel and portfolio that demonstrates application of the principles of animation to tell a story with meaning through motion and design
  • Ability to clearly communicate simple ideas with which an audience can empathize
  • Good sense of typography, color theory, and scene composition
  • Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and motion graphic animation techniques
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop are key to this role
  • Cinema 4D experience is a huge plus +++
  • Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work quickly and collaboratively
  • A great attitude and strong work ethic
  • 20 to 30 hours per week to start
  • Potential to move to a full time position
