About the Role:

As a Motion Graphics Designer at Sezzle, you do more than bringing graphics to life. You use your strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leaves them wanting more. You are agile at brainstorming, working with the Sezzle Marketing Team and our Merchant Partners to come up with custom graphics that transmit ideas across digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling the animation needs of Sezzle and its customers.
  • Contribute to ideation and sketching sessions, storyboards, prototyping
  • Identification of relevant communication media (e.g. animation, photo, and video) and their market-oriented preparation across many channels, optimized for engagement on any device
  • Determination of relevant industry imagery and implementation of Sezzle content on existing platforms

Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Strong creative and technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software for both Graphic Design and Motion projects (Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation)
  • The ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, video, and more)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
  • Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas
  • Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
  • Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
