Multi-Media Communication Specialist

Our organization has an exciting opportunity to work as a Multi-Media Communication Specialist where you will share our story. Our content reflects the life enhancing and life-saving work we perform here at Versiti each and every day.

Our Multi-Media Communication Specialist is based in Milwaukee and will serve as a media spokesperson and maintain and grow relationships with print, broadcast and web reporters. In addition to possessing highly developed verbal communications skills, you will have the opportunity to apply your creative writing skills to develop news releases, fact sheets, patient stories and donor stories.

We want our content to be creative, compelling and to reflect how we fulfill our mission. To advance that goal, you will also be responsible for leading the creation, production and execution of patient, donor and employee focused videos for use in internal communication channels, as well as external channels.   • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in communications, public relations, journalism or related degree. 
  • Five + years of experience in public relations, communications or marketing 
  • Experience in public relations/media relations, communications practices. 
  • Strong video and editing skills; applied knowledge of video editing software 
  • Active knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience desirable but not required
