This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year position. General working hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
SUMMARY:
As a member of the Creative Team, this individual will design across all digital media including—but not limited to–motion graphics, interactive design, animation, special effects, digital display ads, e-mail, web, mobile, and social media. This position reports to the Creative Manager and works with other team members on the concepting, development and implementation of interactive publications, regional digital advertising, web design, video graphics and more that market the college's branding message and unique selling points to a wide variety of audiences. They will design within Madison College brand guidelines while strengthening and progressing Madison College's image by ensuring the production of consistent, attractive, contemporary and high quality marketing deliverables. This position will be tasked with constantly exploring new trends and technologies in digital/social, graphic design and user experience. They will collaborate with the larger Marketing & PR Team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas and ability to incorporate various types of multimedia into deliverables.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive maximum engagement and effectiveness in digital design through 2D animation, video, and motion graphics.
- Strategize with college leaders on digital marketing and advertising concepts to effectively represent and progress the positive image and brand of the college.
- Lead work with vendors to ensure digital marketing assets are distributed appropriately and timely.
- Independently plan, analyze, present and create visual solutions that promote and evolve the college’s brand identity including—but not limited to–motion graphics, digital display ads, e-mail, web, mobile, social media and print.
