The multimedia producer is a tech savvy storyteller who supports Wespath’s and the Communications department’s goals and objectives with a focus on enhancing our brand and creating strong emotional connections between Wespath and its audiences. Serving as the organization’s expert in video and virtual event production strategies and techniques, they will help the organization deliver high-quality, engaging videos and virtual/hybrid events, both livestream and recorded (webinars). They will also oversee all virtual and livestream content for the organization, creating and maintaining a consistent production standard across the organization for Wespath livestream and virtual/hybrid events.

The multimedia producer is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and excellent collaborative and consultative skills. They value teamwork and partnership and are willing and able to contribute at both the individual and team levels. They are creative and work within brand standards, provide guidance in revising those standards as appropriate, all to help Wespath put its best foot forward through video and virtual meeting content.

More specifically, as a Multimedia Producer you will have the opportunity to perform the following:

Video Production:

  • Fulfill duties relevant to the entire lifecycle of the video production process, including storyboarding, planning, shooting, processing, uploading, editing, and managing video output for a variety of distribution channels. 
  • Collaborate closely with Communications team partners to create multimedia project recommendations, plans, delivery options, cost, and estimated timelines to ensure optimum multimedia delivery. 
  • Storyboard video concepts in a manner to gain alignment from the business and Communications team to streamline the production process and ensure content accuracy. 
  • Support social media strategy with video content for Wespath channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), collaborating with the social media manager in the creation of relevant content including videos, animations, and GIFs. 
  • Manage pre-production of videos including location scouting; selecting lighting; sourcing voice over and on-camera talent; music; and complying with usage rights requirements. 
  • Create and manage a strong production and workflow schedule, with key production and review dates and deliverables outlined.

Virtual/Hybrid Event Production:

  • Manage virtual, livestream event and webinar production – from concept to completion – for various cross-functional teams, using various external and internal platforms. 
  • Review and update Wespath’s current standards for virtual event and webinar production, communicate and manage compliance to production standards to ensure a consistent look/feel and quality across the organization. 
  • Provide virtual event and webinar education (including vMix capabilities) with key business areas to ensure those teams hosting their own virtual events do so in a manner consistent with current standards. 
  • Provide technical direction and support for webinars and live or production style events. 
  • As a vMix operator, build, facilitate, and execute pre-recorded and live programs utilizing the vMix platform. 
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues proficiently.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Video/Film Production, Cinematography, Fine Arts (film, television, digital specialty), Communication, Digital Design, or related fields. 
  • 5+ years of video shooting and editing with fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. 
  • 3+ years of virtual/hybrid event production. 
  • Working knowledge or vMix live video production software, as well as livestream meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting). 
  • A reel/portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional video storytelling produced for client-oriented projects. Examples of virtual event production also requested. 
  • Working knowledge of third-party social media tools and websites as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, etc. with ability to effectively create for these platforms.

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Podcast production platforms a plus. 
  • Photography and graphic design a plus.
