Job Summary:

The Marketing Communications Manager - North America is responsible for leading the North American Marketing Communications team and is accountable for the execution of the AGCO Grain and Protein regional marketing strategies. The Marketing Communications Manager directly manages a team of marketing professionals and is tasked with working cross functionally within the region’s sales divisions and the global marketing department to deliver the following, in support of the AGCO Grain and Protein North America business.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of marketing professionals by demonstrating quality leadership, building employee engagement, and driving team vision. 
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Directors and their teams to create annual marketing plans including promotions, product launches, programs, and other initiatives. Manage execution of each annual marketing plan. 
  • Manage quality of communications crafted from other departments to make sure they conform to communication guidelines; oversee distribution to the dealership network. 
  • Partner with Global Product Management, Global Marketing, Engineering, and Sales on new product development, working closely to plan and executing all product launches. Ensure clear product positioning is established and executed through product development process. 
  • Create media plans for each business unit and manage the team to implement advertising programs targeted towards both the end user and the Dealership channel. 
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing discretionary budget by division on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely

What You Will Need:

Education:

  • B.S Degree in Business Marketing or Communications and / or marketing academic background,

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience 
  • Experience at a marketing agency or demonstrated project management skills with internal and external teams. 
  • Customer Focused 
  • Prior experience working across multiple company functions preferred 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, can approach people proactively, can train/coach 
  • Able to quickly adapt to a fast changing environment 
  • Self driven 
  • Accountable, trustworthy 
  • Team oriented 
  • International / Global commercial experience a plus

A Plus If You Have:

  • Marketing leadership experience in a B2B environment

Travel Required:

  • North American travel is expected less than 25% of time.
