Paid Social Media Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • The Role: We are looking for a paid social veteran who has the ability to lead some of our largest accounts with strategy recommendations, in-platform activation, and performance reporting. This position will be the senior-most paid social position and will be the leading knowledge base for channel tactics and industry changes. You will be contributing to strategy decks, ensuring all campaigns are highly optimized, and ensuring our clients understand their performance and the impact on their business.
  • Day to Day: The biggest challenge in this role will be tracking budgets, deadlines, and reporting cadences. You will be responsible for a handful of clients with complex media plans that will require daily review of logistical elements. You will be the active buyer for your accounts and will require you to create the campaigns and manage their performance. This role has significant client interface and will require you to join conference calls to represent your channels. Throughout the month there will be various reporting cadences requiring you to add insights and optimizations. Lastly, you will be managing financial documents for approved/actual spend.
  • Logistics: BVK is based in Milwaukee, WI and offers the option to work remote up to 100%. This role will report to the performance marketing director and does not have any direct reports. Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of in-platform paid social buying experience
  • Minimum 3 years of agency experience. 
  • Managed budgets over $10K in monthly spend. 
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns in Meta, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. 
  • Highly organized and able to manage dozens of deadlines with shifting priority levels.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Complete autonomy in managing the campaign optimization, targeting, and ad/content strategy across multiple brands and campaigns. 
  • Able to analyze dozens of data points and identify significant data trends to craft a narrative around how the campaigns are performing and why. 
  • Comfortable presenting strategy and performance to stakeholders and communicating technical content in a manner that is digestible for all audiences.
  • Familiarity with DMPs & paid social management tools (Sprinklr preferred) 
  • Familiarity with attribution and tracking: Integrating with analytics teams/tagging and counseling clients around increasing challenges with online tracking on iOS14.5 & Google Chrome.
